An Interconnection Clause Samples
An Interconnection clause defines the terms and conditions under which two or more parties' systems, networks, or facilities are physically or virtually linked to allow the exchange of data, services, or resources. Typically, this clause outlines the technical standards, responsibilities for maintenance, and procedures for establishing and managing the connection between the parties. Its core practical function is to ensure seamless and reliable interoperability between different systems, thereby facilitating cooperation and minimizing disputes over connectivity issues.
An Interconnection. Facilities Study report (1) shall provide a description, estimated cost of (consistent with Attachment A), schedule for required facilities to interconnect the Small Generator Facility to EDC’s Electric Distribution System and (2) shall address the short circuit, instability, and power flow issues identified in the Interconnection System Impact Study.
An Interconnection. Customer of sufficient credit-worthiness may propose to provide this insurance via a self-insurance program if it has a self-insurance program established in accordance with commercially acceptable risk management practices, and such a proposal shall not be unreasonably rejected.
An Interconnection. Agreement between [Seller] and the PTO shall have been executed and delivered and be in full force and effect and a copy of the Interconnection Agreement delivered to Buyer;
An Interconnection. System Impact Study shall consist of a short circuit analysis, a stability analysis, a power flow analysis, voltage drop and flicker studies, protection and set point coordination studies, and grounding reviews, as necessary. An Interconnection System Impact Study shall state the assumptions upon which it is based, state the results of the analyses, and provide the requirement or potential impediments to providing the requested interconnection service, including a preliminary indication of the cost and length of time that would be necessary to correct any problems identified in those analyses and implement the interconnection. An Interconnection System Impact Study shall provide a list of facilities that are required as a result of the Interconnection Request and non-binding good faith estimates of cost responsibility and time to construct.
An Interconnection. System Impact Study will be based upon the results of the Interconnection Feasibility Study and the technical information provided by Interconnection Customer in the Interconnection Request. The System Operator and Interconnecting Transmission Owner reserve the right to request additional technical information from the Interconnection Customer as may reasonably become necessary consistent with Good Utility Practice during the course of the Interconnection System Impact Study. If the Interconnection Customer modifies its designated Point of Interconnection, Interconnection Request, or the technical information provided therein is modified, the time to complete the Interconnection System Impact Study may be extended.
An Interconnection. Customer in the applicable Cluster wishing to proceed to a Phase Two Cluster Study must submit validated detailed models, in a format acceptable to Transmission Provider, representing the Generating Facility to Transmission Provider no later than the completion of the first Customer Review Period following the initial Phase One Cluster Study.
An Interconnection. Application for a DER that includes a single or multiple energy production devices at a site for which the Interconnection Customer seeks a single Point of Common Coupling shall be evaluated on the basis of the Aggregate Nameplate Rating of the multiple DERs unless 5.14.3 applies.
An Interconnection. Facilities Agreement has not been executed within six (6) months of Contract execution; or
