Amending Milestones. The AO may amend milestones during the period of the agreement, if the original milestones are no longer feasible or appropriate due to circumstances beyond the control of the recipient, and if the amended milestones are compatible with and satisfy the original purpose of the agreement. The AO may terminate the agreement if the AO concludes that multiple or substantial amendments indicate that continuing the agreement is no longer in the best interests of the Agency. For additional guidance, see ADS 308mad, Fixed Amount Agreements to Public International Organizations.
