Common use of Alternative Work Schedule Clause in Contracts

Alternative Work Schedule. The Company may adopt alternative work schedules consisting of ten (10) or twelve (12) hour per day scheduling with the approval of the Local Union President/Unit Chair and the Grievance Chair and sixty percent (60%) of the Employees who are impacted by the alternative schedule. Approval of an alternative work schedule may be revoked at any time more than six (6) months after its implementation by a simple majority vote of the Employees who are impacted by that schedule. Following such revocation, the Company shall reinstate a normal schedule as promptly as possible.
