Common use of All Units Clause in Contracts

All Units. The County agrees to pay the premium for short-term disability insurance for all employees in regular positions budgeted for forty (40) or more hours per pay period who have completed at least two (2) pay periods of continuous service, each with a minimum of one-half plus one hour of scheduled hours of regular paid time. The short-term disability insurance plan benefit coverage shall include a provision for a seven (7) consecutive calendar day waiting period from the first day of disability before benefits begin. Benefits shall be fifty-five percent (55%) of base salary up to a weekly maximum established by the State of California for the State Disability Insurance fund. Benefit payments terminate when the employee is no longer disabled or after fifty-two (52) weeks of disability. The County agrees to provide these benefits subject to carrier requirements as specified in the Short-Term Disability Policy.
