All Drivers Clause Samples
All Drivers must produce a valid Driver’s licence once per year (a letter of understanding shall be formulated for employees who lose their licence for other than medical reasons).
All Drivers must produce a valid Driver’s Licence and updated Driver’s abstract once per year. With regards to the latter, the employee may choose to provide the company with written permission to obtain the item on their behalf. The cost of obtaining the Driver’s Abstract will be borne by the Company.
All Drivers. Captains and Shift Commanders, upon promotion to the next highest rank, will be placed in the step in the new grade which guarantees the individual a full one step increase in wages from the wage in the previous rank. For example, a fire fighter promoted to driver would receive at least a full step increase based on the driver’s salary table. A step increase shall be given at the completion of their training period six (6) months and again on the anniversary date of their promotion. Thereafter, Drivers, Captains and Shift Commanders will advance through the steps at the rate of one step per year in the appropriate grade upon the anniversary date of the promotion to the respective rank.
All Drivers. (a) An employee shall have a continuous break between the completion of a shift and the commencement of the next regular starting time as required by the National Fatigue Hours.
(b) The hours of a day's work as hereinbefore provided shall be continuous except for a meal break.
All Drivers. Overtime will be paid after 9 hours in a day or 45 hours in a week Subject to Articles 9.04 and 15.01 (a), any work performed on an employee's scheduled day off, Saturday, Sunday, or Statutory Holidays shall be paid at time and one-half.
15.03 Any employee who is called in to work prior to the commencement of his regular work day or any employee who is called back to work after the completion of his regular work day will be guaranteed a minimum of four
All Drivers as a condition of employment and continued employment, shall pass a medical examination, as specified by the British Columbia Motor Vehicle Branch, at the time of hire, and every two (2) years thereafter.

Furthermore, subject to Articles 9.04 and 15.0l(a), any employee called to work on a Saturday, Sunday or Statutory Holiday will be guaranteed four (4) hours at time and one-half.
15.04 An employee temporarily transferred to another job will receive his own job rate or the other job rate, whichever is higher.
