Adjustment of the Price for Quality. The price of Biomass Fuel under Article 6 shall be adjusted pursuant to Article 7.2 through 7.8 so that the final price per MT payable by the Buyer to the Seller for each delivery shall be determined. Net Calorific Value (as received basis) There shall be no adjustment so long as the certified net calorific value (NCV) of Biomass Fuel is not less than (Guaranteed Specifications for NCV-50) kcal/kg and not more than (Guaranteed Specifications for NCV+50) kcal/kg. In the event that the certified net calorific value of Biomass Fuel is less than (Guaranteed Specifications for NCV-50) kcal/kg, the price per MT shall be reduced by the amount calculated by the following formula: (Amount of reduction) = (The DDP Price×0.7) × × Penalty In the above formula, “Y” is the certified net calorific value (kcal/kg) as received basis of Biomass Fuel as determined under Article 4. In the above formula, the “Penalty” is determined by the table below: 50< (Guaranteed Specifications for NCV – Y) ≤ 150 Penalty = 2.0 150< (Guaranteed Specifications for NCV – Y) ≤ 250 Penalty = 2.5 250< (Guaranteed Specifications for NCV – Y) Penalty = 3.0 In the event that the certified net calorific value of Biomass Fuel is in excess of (Guaranteed Specifications for NCV+50) kcal/kg, the Base Contract Price per MT shall be increased by the amount calculated by the following formula: (Amount of increase) = (The DDP Price × 0.7) × × 0.5 In the above formula, “Y” is the certified net calorific value (kcal/kg) - as received basis of Biomass Fuel as determined under Article 4 at the DDP Point. Sulphur (Dry basis) In the event that the certified total sulphur content exceeds Guaranteed Specifications for Sulphur, the price per MT shall be reduced by the amount calculated by the following formula: (Amount of reduction) = 3% of the (The DDP Price × 0.7) × In the above formula, “Y” is the certified sulphur content (%) as dry basis of Biomass Fuel as determined under Article 4. Ash(Dry basis) In the event the certified total ash content exceeds Guaranteed Specifications for Ash, the price per MT shall be reduced by the amount calculated by the following formula: (Amount of reduction) = 3% of the (The DDP Price × 0.7) × In the above formula, “Y” is the certified ash content (%) as dry basis of Biomass Fuel as determined under Article 4. Ash Fusion Temperature, IDT (reducing atmosphere) In the event the certified Ash Fusion Temperature, IDT is lower than Guaranteed Specifications for Ash Fusion Temperature,...
