Additional Voluntary Deductions. Members may request through a payroll deduction card signed by the member that such additional amounts as may be requested will be deducted from the member’s pay and be paid to the political action committee of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, otherwise known as “Public Employees Organized to Promote Legislative Equality,” or P.E.O.P.L.E., provided that deductions shall stop upon the next pay period following written request of the employee.

  • Voluntary Deductions A. The Employer agrees to deduct from the wages of any employee who is a member of the Union a DRIVE and/or a Teamsters Legal Defense Fund deduction as provided for in a written authorization. Such authorization must be executed by the employee and may be revoked by the employee at any time by giving written notice to both the Employer and the Union. The beginning and/or termination of this deduction will coincide with the payroll cycle. The Employer agrees to remit any deductions made pursuant to this provision to the Union together with a report showing:

  • Salary Deductions Salaried employees (E-level classifications) who are permanently assigned to full-time job classifications are paid on a bi-weekly salary basis. Salaried employees are paid a bi-weekly salary based on a minimum of two (2) forty (40) hour workweeks. The bi-weekly salary received by salaried employees will not be reduced regardless of the number of hours the salaried employee actually works in any week in which the salaried employee performs any work except for the following deductions:

  • Voluntary Contributions 16.10 Where an Employee wishes to make voluntary contributions to the Fund, the Employee may authorise the Employer to deduct from the Employee’s wages an amount or percentage specified by the Employee. Voluntary contributions deducted under this provision will be forwarded to the Fund by the Employer at the same time as the Employer’s contributions. Where the Employer receives written authorisation from an Employee, it must commence making payments into the Fund on behalf of the Employee within fourteen days of receiving the authorisation.

  • Permitted Deductions The Security Agent shall be entitled (a) to set aside by way of reserve amounts required to meet and (b) to make and pay, any deductions and withholdings (on account of Tax or otherwise) which it is or may be required by any applicable law to make from any distribution or payment made by it under this Agreement, and to pay all Tax which may be assessed against it in respect of any of the Charged Property, or as a consequence of performing its duties, or by virtue of its capacity as Security Agent under any of the Finance Documents or otherwise (except in connection with its remuneration for performing its duties under this Agreement).

  • Union Dues Deductions It shall be a condition of employment for all Nurses in the Bargaining Unit, that dues be deducted from their bi-weekly salary in the amount determined by the Union. The deductions for newly employed Nurses shall be in the first pay period of employment. If you also maintain a Xxxx XXX (i.e., an IRA subject to the limits of Internal Revenue Code Section (IRC Sec.) 408A), the maximum contribution to your Traditional IRAs is reduced by any contributions you make to your Xxxx IRAs. Your total annual contribution to all Traditional IRAs and Xxxx IRAs cannot exceed the lesser of the dollar amounts described above or 100 percent of your compensation.

  • Employee Deductions A. Upon receipt of a written authorization voluntarily executed by an employee, the County will deduct monthly Association dues, if any, from the salary of an employee who so requests, and transmit said monies to the Association. The parties shall agree upon the form of the written authorization.
