Common use of Additional Insureds and Certificates of insurance Clause in Contracts

Additional Insureds and Certificates of insurance. The Commercial General Liability insurance required under this contract shall include the State or Oregon and its agencies, departments, divisions, commissions, branches, officers and employees as Additional Insureds. Contractor shall ensure that all required coverage is primary and non-contributory with any other insurance and self-insurance. As evidence of the insurance coverages required by this Contract, Contractor shall furnish acceptable insurance certificates to Commission prior to commencing the Work under this Contract. The certificate will specify all of the parties who are Additional Insureds Insuring companies or entities are subject to State acceptance. If requested, complete copies of insurance policies, trust agreements, etc. shall be provided to the State. The Contractor shall be financially responsible for all pertinent deductibles, self-insured retentions, or self-insurance, for all of the above. EXHIBIT C INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR CERTIFICATION
