Access to File. Access to the personnel file shall be available during regular office hours to the employee and/or his/her representative. Neither the file nor any part thereof shall be removed from the office. Upon payment of a reasonable fee for copying, the Board shall provide the employee with a copy of any requested materials from the personnel file. Bargaining unit members shall be notified by the next business day if someone who is not affiliated with the school district (i.e. employee or board member) has viewed their file. Bargaining unit member will be notified of the identity of the person viewing their file and will be given copies of all documents copied by the person viewing their file. Personal information such as address, social security, phone number or any medical information shall not be viewed or copied.
