Acceptable Sabbatical Projects. A sabbatical may be granted for any of the following purposes: 4225 (1) Professional study related to assigned discipline(s) or for the purpose of 4226 retraining when there is a scheduled phase-out in a discipline and/or 4227 program. 4228 4229 (2) Completion of courses for an advanced degree related to assigned 4230 discipline(s) or in advanced studies related to higher education. 4231 4232 (3) Special project, research or assignment that relates to the goals and 4233 mission of the college and District. 4234 4235 (4) Travel related to assigned discipline, course and/or program of faculty 4236 member. 4237
