ACCELERATED PROMOTION. For the purpose of enabling employees who have been 1) demoted or transferred under the provisions of this Title, or 2) to enable employees who have been on or are on Long-Term Disability status, or 3) placed into a bargaining unit job in another line of progression or a different bargaining unit as the result of an Internal Job Search, or 4) returned to work from Long-Term Disability into a different bargaining unit, to return to their former status (includes former classification and department and/or any other intermediate classification in the department and in the Line of Progression), on an accelerated basis, Company will give preferential consideration in the following sequence to the bids and transfer applications submitted by such employees on any job vacancy: (Amended 8-15-17)
