5C Clinical Practice. Within one semester of the implementation of a University-sponsored practice plan, clinical faculty members in all titles except Clinical Instructor and at all ranks are responsible for maintaining ongoing clinical practice (except as exempted in Section 1 above) equal to an average of four hours per week for every workweek in the faculty member’s appointment period (a total of 112 hours for the academic-year faculty or 168 hours for calendar-year faculty). Those hours may be distributed across the year or may be concentrated at the faculty member’s discretion, in parties of the year (such as summer or winter break).
