Work/Live definition

Work/Live means permitted uses that fall under any of the following use activity or facility types of the Oakland Planning Code: Work/live unit (as defined in Subsection 17.73.040.B in a CIX, IG, and IO Zone); or Work/live nonresidential facilities (as defined in Chapter 17.101 E in a D-CE-5 Zone); or Live/work facilities (as defined in Chapters 17.65 and 17.101E in HBX and D-CE Zone); or Work/live nonresidential facilities (as defined in Chapters 17.65 and 17.101E in a D-CE-3 or D-CE-4 Zone); or Joint work and living quarters (as defined in Section 17.102.190); or Residentially-oriented joint living and working quarters (as defined in Section 17.102.195) or such unpermitted uses that involve a work and live component.
Work/Live means combines residential use as an accessory use, with any of the following uses:
Work/Live means a room or suite of rooms that are internally connected maintaining a common household that includes: (a) cooking space and sanitary facilities that satisfy the provisions of other applicable codes, and (b) adequate working space reserved for, and regularly used by, one or more persons residing therein. A Work/Live unit accommodates a primary nonresidential activity with an accessory residential component.

  • The Developers shall, or may cause the Owners’ Association to share parking in accordance with the Bergamot Area Plan but in no case shall the amount of shared parking be less than fifty percent (50%) of that portion of the Project parking designated for Commercial Uses and be less than one-third (1/3) of that portion of the Project parking designated for Residential Uses and Artist Work/Live Units available.

  • The maximum number of Rental Housing Units in the Project shall not exceed 473 units and the maximum number of Artist Work/Live Units in the Project shall not exceed 25 units.

  • Developers shall not require renters of the Residential Housing Units and Restaurant, Artist Work/Live, and Retail tenants to lease parking spaces.

  • Subject to the limitations set forth in Section 2.5.2 below, each Building in the Creative Office Phase is permitted to contain Commercial Uses and each Building in the Residential Phase is permitted to contain Retail Uses, Restaurant Uses, Residential Uses, and Artist Work/Live Units.

  • As part of the annual report required by Article 10 of this Agreement, Developer shall report on how many of the 25 Artist Work/Live Units are occupied by each identified Priority Occupancy group.

  • If the Artist Work/Live Units are ever occupied by non-Artists, leases shall be on a month-to-month basis while the Unit continues to be marketed in accordance with the Artist Marketing Plan with priority to be given in accordance with Section 2.7.5 of this Agreement; provided, however, that no occupant of any Artist Work/Live Unit shall be evicted except in compliance with all applicable laws.


More Definitions of Work/Live

Work/Live means a Dwelling Unit within which a business is located at Grade and the business operator resides within the same Dwelling Unit, in accordance with the requirements of section 5.2.4 of this Bylaw.

Related to Work/Live

  • Work Locations means any real estate that CLEC or Qwest, as appropriate, owns, leases or licenses, or in which it holds easements or other rights to use, or does use, in connection with this Agreement. Terms not otherwise defined here but defined in the Act and the orders and the rules implementing the Act, shall have the meaning defined there. The definition of terms that are included here and are also defined in the Act, or its implementing orders or rules, are intended to include the definition as set forth in the Act and the rules implementing the Act.

  • Work crew means a program of partial confinement

  • Work Letter means the work letter between Landlord and Tenant regarding the construction of the Tenant Improvements, if any, in the form of Exhibit C.

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.
