Wireless telecommunication facility definition
Wireless telecommunication facility means an antenna, equipment, and related improvements used, or designed to be used, to provide publicly accessible wireless transmission of voice, data, images, or other information including, but not limited to, cellular phone service, personal communication service, paging, and Wi-Fi antenna service.
Wireless telecommunication facility means an un-staffed facility for the transmission and reception of radio signals, including, but not limited to cellular radiotelephone service facilities, specialized mobile radio service facilities, microwave service facilities, broadband Internet service, communication towers, personal communication service facilities, and commercial paging service facilities.
Wireless telecommunication facility means a facility that transmits and/or receives electromag- netic signals, including antennas, microwave dishes, parabolic antennas, directional antennas and other types of equipment for the transmission or reception of such signals, towers, or similar struc- tures supporting the equipment, equipment buildings, shelters, cabinets, parking area, and other ac- cessory development.

Wireless telecommunication facility means public, commercial and private electromagnetic and photoelectrical transmission, broadcast, repeater and receiving stations for radio, television, telegraph, telephone, data network, and wireless communications. “Wireless telecommunication facility” shall also include the towers and other support structures, commercial satellite dishes, antennas, equipment buildings necessary for the specific facility, and facilities co-located on utility poles. “Wireless telecommunication facility” includes “Satellite telecommunication facility.” “Wireless telecommunication facility” does not include “Wired telecommunication facility,” or private personal wireless facilities that do not require a license from the Federal Communications Commission, including Direct-to-home satellite TV.
Wireless telecommunication facility means any unmanned exterior facility, including an antenna, antenna array or other communications equipment, excluding a satellite television dish antenna, established for the purpose of providing wireless voice, data and image transmission within a designated service area and which includes equipment consisting of personal wireless services, as defined in the Federal Telecommunications Act of 1996. Wireless telecommunication equipment and network components may include towers, utility poles, transmitters, base stations and emergency power systems. Antennas may be mounted to a building, a building rooftop or a freestanding pole in accordance with the City’s Telecommunication Facilities Siting and Permit Submittal Requirements, as adopted by resolution of the City Council. Equipment may be located within a building, an equipment cabinet, or an equipment room within a building. Small cell telecommunication facilities are defined separately.
