Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;

Takaful means a scheme based on brotherhood, solidarity and mutual assistance which provides for mutual financial aid and assistance to the Takaful Participants in case of need whereby the Takaful Participants mutually agree to contribute for that purpose.

BD means Business Day and “DD” means Dealing Day. Any application received after the cut off time on a Dealing Day will be treated as an application for the next Dealing Day.

AAEC means "Appreciable Adverse Effect on Competition" as per Competition Act
Xxxxxxx Xxx 0000 means the Xxxxxxx Xxx 0000 and any subordinate legislation made under that Act from time to time together with any guidance or codes of practice issued by the relevant government department concerning the legislation.
