UST Employee definition

UST Employee means an Employee who has accrued a UST Plan Benefit.

  • UST Plan Benefit payable under this Plan shall be as follows: (1) The UST Plan Benefit of a UST Employee who is not a UST Supplemental Retirement Participant shall be paid in a Single Sum Payment on the Payment Date specified in ARTICLE I(ee)(ii)(1).

  • For Plan Years beginning on or after January 1, 2016, a Participating Company shall make a Company Match Contribution to the Profit-Sharing Fund on behalf of a Participant who is not a Match-Eligible Employee, a UST Employee, or a SMWE Employee, provided he has made Salary Reduction Contributions, After-Tax Contributions, or a combination of Salary Reduction Contributions and After-Tax Contributions for such payroll period.

  • In no event shall a UST Employee or a SMWE Employee share in any allocation of the Contribution.

  • The UST Plan Benefit of a UST Employee who is not a UST Supplemental Retirement Participant shall be paid in a Single Sum Payment on the Payment Date specified in ARTICLE I(ee)(ii)(1).

  • A UST Employee shall be eligible to become a Participant with respect to the Company Match Contribution pursuant to Section 2.04 of the Plan as of the first payroll period following the date he has completed one (1) year of Accredited Service.

  • An Employee shall include a UST Employee but only with respect to any benefit earned under the Profit-Sharing Plan on or after January 1, 2010, and disregarding any part of the UST Employee’s UST Plan Benefit earned on and after such date.

  • A Participating Company shall make a Company Match Contribution to the Profit-Sharing Fund on behalf of a UST Employee beginning with the first payroll period that is administratively practicable after the date that the UST Employee completes one year of Accredited Service provided he has made Salary Reduction Contributions, After-Tax Contributions, or a combination of Salary Reduction Contributions and After-Tax Contributions with respect to such payroll period.

  • Thus, the maximum Company Match Contributions on behalf of a UST Employee shall be six percent (6%) of such eligible Participant’s Compensation.

  • A UST Employee shall be eligible to become a Participant with respect to the Company Match Contribution pursuant to Section 2.04 of the Plan as of the first payroll period following the date he has completed one year of Accredited Service.

  • Thus, the maximum Company Match Contributions on behalf of a UST Employee shall be six percent of such UST Employee’s Compensation.

Related to UST Employee

  • Contract employee means a probationary faculty employee or a grant- funded employee hired on a year-to-year basis in accordance with Education Code 87470.

  • Company Employee means an employee of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • Student Employee means a student who is paid by the District, and may include students participating in a work study program or who receive stipends while they are acting within the scope of their employment at the District at the time the intellectual property was created.

  • Former Employee means all individuals (including common law employees, independent contractors and individual consultants) who were employed or engaged by the Company in connection with the Business but who are no longer so employed or engaged on the date hereof.

  • Parent Employee means, a current employee of Parent or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • U.S. Employee means a person who is an employee of the Company (or of any Subsidiary) for purposes of section 422 of the Code.

  • Current Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 7.8(a).

  • SpinCo Employee means any individual who, immediately following the Distribution Date, will be employed by Spinco or any member of the Spinco Group in a capacity considered by Spinco to be common law employment, including active employees and employees on vacation and approved leaves of absence (including maternity, paternity, family, sick, short-term or long-term disability leave, qualified military service under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994, and leave under the Family Medical Leave Act and other approved leaves).

  • Permanent Employee means an employee in the classified service who has successfully completed a probationary period.

  • School employee means (1) a teacher, substitute teacher, school administrator, school superintendent, guidance counselor, psychologist, social worker, nurse, physician, school paraprofessional or coach employed by a local or regional board of education or working in a public elementary, middle or high school; or (2) any other individual who, in the performance of his or her duties, has regular contact with students and who provides services to or on behalf of students enrolled in a public elementary, middle or high school, pursuant to a contract with the local or regional board of education.

  • Management Employee means an employee having responsibility for formulating, administering or managing the implementation of District policies and programs.

  • Active Employee means a contributing member of the TRS who is employed by a public school and is not entitled to coverage under a plan provided under Insurance Code Chapter 1551 (Texas Em- ployees Group Benefits Act) or 1601 (State University Employees Uniform Insurance Benefits Act).

  • Relevant Employee means the Previous Contractor Employees, the Previous Contractor Third Party Employees and Previous Contractor Sub-contractor Employees;

  • Qualifying Employee means any employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries who is and has been an employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries for at least thirty-six (36) months.

  • Transferred Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.01(a).

  • New employee means a Full-Time Employee first employed by the Company in the Project and who is hired on or after the Effective Date of this Agreement.

  • Tipped employee means any employee engaged in an occupation in which s/he customarily and regularly receives more than $30 per month in tips. Tips include amounts designated as a tip by credit card customers on their charge slips. Nothing in this rule prevents an employer from requiring employees to share or allocate such tips or gratuities on a pre-established basis among other employees who customarily and regularly receive tips. Employer-required sharing of tips with employees who do not customarily and regularly receive tips, such as management or food preparers, or deduction of credit card processing fees from tipped employees, shall nullify allowable tip credits towards the minimum wage.

  • Business Employee means any Person who is a present or former employee of Seller at any time prior to or on the Closing Date, and who provided or previously provided any services relating to the Business.

  • Public employee means an individual holding a position by appointment or employment in the government of this state, in the government of 1 or more of the political subdivisions of this state, in the public school service, in a public or special district, in the service of an authority, commission, or board, or in any other branch of the public service, subject to the following exceptions:

  • Replacement employee is an employee specifically engaged to replace an employee proceeding on parental leave.

  • Executive Employee means those employees of the Company of Grade Level 10 or above.

  • Hired Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.6.

  • Designated Employee means an employee who has been designated by the school to receive complaints of hazing, harassment and bullying pursuant to subdivision 16 V.S.A. 570a(a)(7). The designated employees for each school building are identified in Appendix A of this policy.

  • Retained Employee does not include any individual who has a direct or an indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) in the profits, equity, capital, or value of the Taxpayer, or a child, grandchild, parent, or spouse, other than a spouse who is legally separated from the individual, of any individual who has direct or indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) of the profits, equity, capital or value of the Company.

  • Male employee means an employed male who is caring for a child borne of his spouse or a child placed with the employee for adoption purposes.

  • Non-Key Employee means any Employee who is not a Key Employee.
