USOPC Athlete definition

USOPC Athlete means a fencer who at the time of their selection has represented the US in the sport of fencing at the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, Pan American Games, Parapan American Games, or World Championships or additional elite Protected Competition(s) (as defined by the Athlete Council and approved by the USOPC’s NGB Athlete Representation Review working Group) within the previous ten (10) years.

USOPC Athlete means a fencer who has competed in fencing at the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, Pan American Games, Parapan American Games, or World Championships within the previous ten (10) years or has finished in the top half of the USA Fencing’s Division 1 points list in the previous twenty four months.

Examples of USOPC Athlete in a sentence
