Examples of the Residences in a sentence

  • Rules and regulations made by duly constituted authorities of the University and Representatives of the Residences shall be in full force and effect, and shall be applicable to the premises and the Agreements thereof.

  • All Residents and guests of Residents are required to evacuate the Residences upon hearing a fire alarm and/or when an emergency situation requires evacuation.

  • Where such behaviours are the result of a disability, the Residences recognizes its obligation to provide accommodation short of undue hardship.

  • Any decisions impacting on the financial management of the EUI Flats shall in any case fall within the remit of the Residences Management Committee (xxxx://xxx.xxx.xx/About/Organization/Committees/HousingCommittee.aspx), chaired by the Secretary General and including the Director of the Budget and Personnel Service, the Director of the REFS and the Chief Accountant.

  • If the intervention of the Residences Management Committee has been requested by the Housing User Group, those observations will be sent to the Residences Management Committee.

  • OHIO RESIDENTS The Ohio laws against discrimination require that all creditors make credit equally available to all creditworthy customers and that credit reporting agencies maintain separate credit histories on each individual upon request. The Ohio Civil Rights Commission administers compliance with this law.

  • Day care center means any child day care facility other than a family day care home, and includes infant centers, preschools, extended day care facilities and school age child care centers.

  • Non-residential means lands, Buildings or portions thereof used, or designed or intended for other than Residential use, including the non- residential portion of a Live-Work Unit;

  • Permanent residence means a place where the person abides, lodges, or resides for 5 or more consecutive days.

  • Private residence means a separate dwelling, or a separate apartment in a multiple-apartment dwelling, that is occupied by members of a single-family unit.

  • Tier 3 Wire Centers means those Qwest Wire Centers that do not meet the criteria for Tier 1 or Tier 2 Wire Centers.

  • Apartment shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Recital H;

  • Tier 1 Wire Centers means those CenturyLink Wire Centers that contain at least four (4) Fiber- based Collocators, at least thirty-eight thousand (38,000) Business Lines, or both. Tier 1 Wire Centers also are those CenturyLink tandem switching locations that have no line-side switching facilities, but nevertheless serve as a point of traffic aggregation accessible by CLEC. Once a Wire Center is determined to be a Tier 1 Wire Center, that Wire Center is not subject to later reclassification as a Tier 2 or Tier 3 Wire Center.

  • Birth center means a facility or institution, which is not an ambulatory surgical center or a hospital or in a hospital, in which births are planned to occur following a normal, uncomplicated, low-risk pregnancy.

  • funeral home means a building or structure with facilities for the preparation of dead persons for burial or cremation, for the viewing of the body and for funeral services;

  • Primary Residence means an Insured’s fixed, permanent and main home for legal and tax purposes.

  • County of residence means the county in this state in which, at the time a person applies for or receives services, the person is living and has established an ongoing presence with the declared, good faith intention of living in the county for a permanent or indefinite period of time. The county of residence of a person who is a homeless person is the county where the homeless person usually sleeps. A person maintains residency in the county in which the person last resided while the person is present in another county receiving services in a hospital, a correctional facility, a halfway house for community-based corrections or substance-related treatment, a nursing facility, an intermediate care facility for persons with an intellectual disability, or a residential care facility, or for the purpose of attending a college or university.   • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • Residential Zone means a zone earmarked for buildings exclusively designed for human habitation and in no case shall include its use in whole or a part thereof for any other purpose e.g commercial activities, school, institution, shop, office, clinic, beauty parlor, guest house, marriage center, gymnasium, tuition center, club activities, work-shop, store or godown etc. or for the purpose of political, religious and sectarian activities. It includes parks, gardens, play grounds, sector shops and other open spaces located in the area earmarked in the residential zone.

  • Residential Dwelling Any one of the following: (i) a detached one-family dwelling, (ii) a detached two- to four-family dwelling, (iii) a one-family dwelling unit in a Xxxxxx Xxx eligible condominium project, (iv) a manufactured home, or (v) a detached one-family dwelling in a planned unit development, none of which is a co-operative or mobile home.

  • Tier 2 Wire Centers means those CenturyLink Wire Centers that are not Tier 1 Wire Centers, but contain at least three (3) Fiber-based Collocators, at least twenty-four thousand (24,000) Business Lines, or both. Once a Wire Center is determined to be a Tier 2 Wire Center, that Wire Center is not subject to later reclassification as a Tier 3 Wire Center.

  • Residential housing or "Residence" means a single-family, owner-occupied dwelling located within the State that qualifies for financing by the Authority within the meaning of the Act, the Rules and Regulations, the Code and related regulations.

  • Community mental health center or "CMHC" means a facility offering a comprehensive array of community-based mental health services, including but not limited to, inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, emergency care, consultation and education; and, certain services at the option of the center, including, but not limited to, prescreening, rehabilitation services, pre-care and aftercare, training programs, and research and evaluation.

  • Apartment Dwelling means any dwelling unit within a building containing more than four dwelling units where the units are connected by an interior corridor;

  • Family or household members means spouses, domestic partners, former spouses, former domestic partners, persons who have a child in common regardless of whether they have been married or have lived together at any time, adult persons related by blood or marriage, adult persons who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past, persons sixteen years of age or older who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past and who have or have had a dating relationship, persons sixteen years of age or older with whom a person sixteen years of age or older has or has had a dating relationship, and persons who have a biological or legal parent-child relationship, including stepparents and stepchildren and grandparents and grandchildren.

  • Residence means a person's principal place of abode within Utah.

  • Child care center means an entity that regularly provides child day care and early learning services for a group of children for periods of less than twenty-four hours licensed by the Washington state department of early learning under chapter 170-295 WAC.

  • Wire Center means the location of one (1) or more local switching systems. It is also a point at which End User’s loops within a defined geographic area converge. Such local loops may be served by one (1) or more Central Office Switches within such premises.

  • Child day care center and "center" means any place in which child day care is provided for thirteen or more children at one time or any place that is not the permanent residence of the licensee or administrator in which child day care is provided for seven to twelve children at one time. In counting children for the purposes of this definition, any children under six years of age who are related to a licensee, administrator or employee and who are on the premises of the center shall be counted.

  • Permanent foster care means an out-of-home placement in which there is a long-term

  • Serving Wire Center (SWC) means a Wire Center that serves the area in which the other Party’s or a third party’s Wire Center, aggregation point, point of termination, or point of presence is located.
