Warehouse Worker Level 3 definition

Warehouse Worker Level 3 means an employee who performs work above and beyond the skills of a Warehouse Worker Level 2 to the extent of the employee's training and appropriate certification for this level.
Warehouse Worker Level 3 means an employee who performs work above and beyond the skills of a Warehouse Worker Level 2 to the extent of the employee's training and appropriate certification for this level. (1) may perform work requiring minimal supervision either individually or in a team environment; (2) is responsible for checking the quality of the employee's own work; (3) exercises discretion within the scope of this grade; (4) exercise keyboard skills at a level higher than Warehouse Worker Level 2; (5) performs work under general supervision either individually or in a team environment; (6) possesses an advanced level of interpersonal and communication skills. Indicative of the tasks or skills which an employee at this level may perform or have are the following; • the operation of all materials handling equipment under licence; • uses a VDU for purposes such as the maintenance of a deposit storage system, information input/retrieval, etc.; • development and refinement of a store's layout, including proper location of goods and their receipt and despatch. Promotional criteria - An employee remains at this level until the employee has been assessed or appropriately certified to be capable of performing effectively the tasks required by this function to enable the employee to progress to the next level when a position becomes available.
