Student physical therapist assistant definition

Student physical therapist assistant means a student enrolled in an accredited or candidacy status entry level physical therapist assistant education program who is completing a required clinical education course. Effective January 1, 2020, a student physical therapist assistant shall be at least eighteen years old.

Student physical therapist assistant means a person in a physical therapist assistant educational program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) or a recognized comparable national accrediting agency approved by the board.
