Standby Compensation definition

Standby Compensation. The City will pay three (3) hours per day at the E step of Maintenance Worker III at straight time for each 24 hours on standby by pro-rated.

Examples of Standby Compensation in a sentence

  • Hours actually worked (including Standby Compensation per that provision of this Agreement) exceeds 40 hours in the seven-day work period.

  • The combination of hours actually worked (including Standby Compensation per that provision of this Agreement) and the use of holiday, vacation, emergency, compensatory, award, or sick leave exceeds 40 hours in the seven-day work period.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, the average hourly base salary rate for purposes of computing compensation provided by this Agreement (including but not limited to Special Duty Pay, Emergency Recall Pay, Emergency Overtime, Standby Compensation, Court Overtime, Paramedic Unit Overtime, Etc.) shall be calculated on the basis of a 53 hour work week.

  • Any employee who fails to comply with the provisions of Section 19.2 shall not be entitled to Standby Compensation for that day, and shall be subject to discipline.

  • The formula for the standard rate of Standby Compensation shall be the equivalent of one and one-half (1.5) times the employee’s current base hourly rate of pay for each day the employee is on standby.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, the average hourly base salary rate for purposes of computing compensation provided by this Agreement (including but not limited to Special Duty Pay, Emergency Recall Pay, Emergency Overtime, Standby Compensation, Court Overtime, Paramedic Unit Overtime, etc.) shall be calculated on the basis of a 49.8 hour average work week.

  • STANDBY COMPENSATION Standby Compensation Standby shall mean a period during which an employee is not at work and is assigned to be on call and be immediately available to return to work.

  • Once this credit has been granted, it may not be rescinded even though the teaching assignment changes.

  • As compensation for the Consultant's services to the Company, the Company shall pay to the Consultant a fee of $1,000 per day during any Performance Period and $500 per day ("Stand-by Compensation") during any Stand-by Period, payable every two weeks in arrears.

  • Cash Compensation means any discount, concession, fee, service fee, commission, sales charge, loan, override, or cash benefit received by a producer in connection with the recommendation or sale of an annuity from an insurer, intermediary, or directly from the consumer.

  • Basic Compensation means Salary and Benefits.

  • Eligible Compensation means, with respect to each Participant for each pay period, the full salary and wages paid to such Participant by the Company or a Participating Subsidiary, including commissions, bonuses (to the extent not excluded below), overtime pay and shift differentials. Except as otherwise determined by the Committee, “Eligible Compensation” does not include

  • Base Compensation means the amount equal to the sum of (i) the greater of Executive’s then-current Annual Base Salary or Executive’s Annual Base Salary as of the date one day prior to the Change in Control, and (ii) the Average Incentive Bonus.

  • Bonus Compensation shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3(b).
