Stairwell Clause Samples

The STAIRWELL clause defines the requirements and standards for stairwells within a building or property. It typically outlines specifications such as minimum width, handrail placement, lighting, and fire safety features that must be met during construction or renovation. For example, it may require that stairwells remain unobstructed and accessible as emergency exits. The core function of this clause is to ensure the safety and accessibility of stairwells, thereby protecting occupants and facilitating emergency egress.
