Presiding Authority definition

Presiding Authority means, in relation to a hearing of a disciplinary charge preferred at the direction of the Authority, the tribunal and, in relation to any other hearing of a disciplinary charge, the Chief Officer or the police officer from some other force to whom the case is remitted pursuant to Article 27;
Presiding Authority means the hearing examiner or, where the hearing is before the commission as a whole, the com- missioners.
Presiding Authority means the Chairman, or in his absence, the Member chosen by the members present at the meeting.

  • Except as otherwise provided in Section C.10.3 below, any appeal or action to contest an arbitrator’s decision to FERC or a Presiding Authority shall be based solely upon the record assembled by the arbitrator.

  • C.11.2 Within 30 calendar days after the date of the appealing party’s first notice of appeal, any other party that was a party to the arbitration may file its statement of position regarding the appeal with the Presiding Authority.
