Practical Completion Statement definition

Practical Completion Statement means the statement to be issued by the Employer’s Agent in accordance with the Building Contract that in its opinion the Works have reached Practical Completion; Pre-Construction Services Agreement: means the pre-construction services agreement substantially in the form annexed at Schedule 10 and the Tenant shall be given a reasonable opportunity to make representations in relation to any amendments that may be proposed to such agreement prior to its completion and the Landlord shall have due regard to such representations but shall not be fettered by them (provided always that the Tenant shall not be entitled to comm ent upon m att ers r elating solely t o the Landlord’s Works);in respect of the enabling works and part of the Landlord’s W orks ;
Practical Completion Statement the Employer's Agent's written statement issued in accordance with the Building Contract stating that practical completion of the Tenant’s Works has occurred according to the terms of the Building Contract and setting out the date on which practical completion occurred. Principal Designer: such person as may be appointed as a principal designer for the time being by the Tenant for the purposes of this agreement and the CDM Regulations.

Examples of Practical Completion Statement in a sentence

  • Following notification by the Contractor to the Employer of the Contractor’s desire to hand over the Works to the Employer on Practical Completion the Employer shall within 10 Working Days of such notification procure that the Contract Administrator shall inspect the Works and if in the Contract Administrator is of the reasonable opinion that Practical Completion has taken place the Contract Administrator will issue the Practical Completion Statement.

  • Clause 2.27B For the avoidance of doubt, the Practical Completion Statement may have appended to it a Snagging List setting out minor, incomplete or defective works and the timescale within which such works are to be made good by the Contractor.

Related to Practical Completion Statement

  • Completion Statement has the meaning given to that term in the Co-ordination Agreement; Conditions has the meaning given to that term in the Co-ordination Agreement;

  • Practical Completion means the completion of the Project where the building is fit for occupancy and/or purpose.

The Final Certificate of Completion shall be signed only after the County has assured itself by tests, inspection or otherwise that all of the provisions of the Contract have been carried out to its satisfaction.
