Pass-Through Organization definition

Pass-Through Organization means an organization that has been awarded grant funds, but is not carrying out or performing the grant, rather passing the funds through to another organization (i.e. Sub-recipient) who is responsible for completing the work of the grant.
Pass-Through Organization means an organization that, for federal income tax purposes, is not treated as a corporation or an association taxable as a corporation but is, for federal income tax purposes, either (i) not a separate entity, (ii) a grantor trust, or (iii) a partnership.
