Mid-Term Evaluation definition

Mid-Term Evaluation means a qualitative and quantitative evidence-based (or demonstrated) assessment, in narrative format (utilizing analytical formats, as applicable) of the Project outputs (i.e. deliverables, referenced to Project success measures, such as the Key Performance Indicators), outcomes (i.e. cost, schedule, scope), impacts and lessons learned, across the first half of the Term. The Mid-Term Evaluation must be conducted by an independent third party with appropriate subject matter expertise relevant to the context and objectives of the Project, selected jointly by the Grantor and Grantee. The Mid-Term Evaluation must be recorded in a written report.
Mid-Term Evaluation means an evaluation conducted for an ongoing programme or project in order to inform decision making and taking stock of initial lessons from experience at a period that is almost halfway during implementation.
