Medical Marijuana Dispensary” or “Collective means any facility or location where Medical Marijuana is made available to or distributed by or to the following: a Primary Care Giver, a Qualified Patient, or a Person With an Identification Card in strict compliance with Health and Safety Code §11362.5, et seq. A "Medical Marijuana Dispensary" shall not include the following uses, as long as the location of such uses are otherwise regulated by this Code or applicable law: a clinic license pursuant to Chapter 1 of Division 2 of the Health and Safety Code; a health care facility licensed pursuant to Chapter 2 of Division2 of the Health and Safety Code; a residential care facility for persons with chronic life-threatening illness license pursuant to Chapter 3.01 of Division 2 of the Health and Safety Code; a resident care facility for the elderly licensed pursuant to Chapter 3.02 of Division 2 of the Health and Safety Code; a residential hospice, or a home health agency licensed pursuant to Chapter 8 of the Health and Safety Code, as long as any such use strictly complies with applicable law including, but not limited to, Health and Safety Code §11362.5, et seq.

Categories of Medical Marijuana Concentrate include Water-Based Medical Marijuana Concentrate, Food-Based Medical Marijuana Concentrate and Solvent-Based Medical Marijuana Concentrate.

  • Medical marijuana waste or "waste" means unused,

  • Collaborative drug therapy management means participation by an authorized pharmacist and a physician in the management of drug therapy pursuant to a written community practice protocol or a written hospital practice protocol.

  • Emergency medical technician means a person who is either an EMT-I, EMT-II, or EMT-P (paramedic), and possesses a valid certificate or license in accordance with the standards of Division 2.5 (commencing with Section 1797) of the Health and Safety Code.

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT means: an individual licensed with cognitive knowledge and a scope of practice that corresponds to that level in the National EMS Education Standards and National EMS Scope of Practice Model.

  • Marijuana wholesaler means a person who purchases marijuana items in this state for resale to a person other than a consumer.

  • Health care facilities means buildings, structures, or equipment suitable and intended for, or incidental or ancillary to, use in providing health services, including, but not limited to, hospitals; hospital long-term care units; infirmaries; sanatoria; nursing homes; medical care facilities; outpatient clinics; ambulatory care facilities; surgical and diagnostic facilities; hospices; clinical laboratories; shared service facilities; laundries; meeting rooms; classrooms and other educational facilities; students', nurses', interns', or physicians' residences; administration buildings; facilities for use as or by health maintenance organizations; facilities for ambulance operations, advanced mobile emergency care services, and limited advanced mobile emergency care services; research facilities; facilities for the care of dependent children; maintenance, storage, and utility facilities; parking lots and structures; garages; office facilities not less than 80% of the net leasable space of which is intended for lease to or other use by direct providers of health care; facilities for the temporary lodging of outpatients or families of patients; residential facilities for use by the aged or disabled; and all necessary, useful, or related equipment, furnishings, and appurtenances and all lands necessary or convenient as sites for the health care facilities described in this subdivision.

  • Therapeutic interchange means an authorized exchange of therapeutic alternate drug products in accordance with a previously established and approved written protocol.

  • Dispensary means a separate physical location or area in a barbershop or school to be used for the storing and dispensing of supplies and cleaning and disinfecting of all implements. The dispensary is where products, chemicals and disinfectants are prepared, measured, mixed, portioned, and disposed of.

  • Participating Home Infusion Therapy Provider means a Home Infusion Therapy Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Medical facility means any of the following:

  • Marijuana establishment means a marijuana cultivation facility, a marijuana testing facility, a marijuana product manufacturing facility, or a retail marijuana store.

  • Marijuana cultivation facility means an entity licensed to cultivate, prepare, and package marijuana and sell marijuana to retail marijuana stores, to marijuana product manufacturing facilities, and to other marijuana cultivation facilities, but not to consumers.

  • Primary caregiver or "caregiver" means a resident of the State
