seaman ’ means an individual (except scientific personnel, a sailing school instruc- tor, or a sailing school student) engaged or employed in any capacity on board a vessel.
Freshwater means all waters not defined as saltwater
STU means the Board or the Government company notified by the respective State Government under Sub-section (1) of Section 39 of the Act;
Toddler means a child at least one year of age but less than 2 years of age.
Growler means any refillable, resealable container complying with federal law.
Raffle means a lottery in which the prize is won by (i) a random drawing of the name or
CORA means the Colorado Open Records Act, §§24-72-200.1 et. seq., C.R.S.
Green means products, materials, methods and processes certified by a “Green Authority” that conserve natural resources, reduce energy or water consumption, avoid toxic or other polluting emissions or otherwise minimize environmental impact.
MR means the mechanical rights granted in clauses 2.1.1 and 2.1.2.
Loft means an intermediary floor on a residual space in a pitched roof; above normal floor level with a maximum height of 1.5 metres and which is constructed or adopted for storage purposes;
Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;
SADC means the Southern African Development Community;
caravan means a vehicle that is fitted or designed to allow human habitation and which is drawn by another vehicle, or which is capable of self-propulsion;
Sternlight means a white light placed as nearly as practicable at the stern showing an unbroken light over an arc of the horizon of 135 degrees and so fixed as to show the light 67.5 degrees from right aft on each side of the vessel.
Hunt means to pursue, shoot, wound, kill, chase, lure, possess, or capture or the act of a person possessing a weapon, as defined in 45-2-101, or using a dog or a bird of prey for the purpose of shooting, wounding, killing, possessing, or capturing wildlife protected by the laws of this state in any location that wildlife may inhabit, whether or not the wildlife is then or subsequently taken. The term includes an attempt to take by any means, including but not limited to pursuing, shooting, wounding, killing, chasing, luring, possessing, or capturing.
Warden means the Warden In-charge of Hall of Residence VIII and includes other Wardens of the said Hall.
AASHTO means the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.
We/Us/Our means TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited.
Lacquer means a clear or opaque wood coating, including clear lacquer sanding sealers, formulated with cellulosic or synthetic resins to dry by evaporation without chemical reaction and to provide a solid, protective film.
Tyler means Tyler Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation.
Barber means a person who shaves or trims the beard of a person; cuts, trims, shampoos, relaxes, curls, permanently waves, dresses, tints, bleaches, colors, arranges, or styles the hair of a person; massages the face and head of a person; or renders personal services of a similar nature customarily done by a barber.
Shoreland means land, as defined in Minn. Stat. § 103F.205, subd. 4, located within 1,000 feet from the normal high water mark of a lake, pond, or flowage and 300 feet of a river or stream or the landward side of floodplain delineated by ordinance on such a river or stream, whichever is greater.
Parkland means any publicly owned land which is designated or used as a public park, recreation area, wildlife or waterfowl refuge or historic site.
Salmon means Pacific Salmon of the species Oncorhynchus nerka including sockeye; Oncorhynchus kisutch including coho; Oncorhynchus gorbuscha including pink; Oncorhynchus keta including chum; and Oncorhynchus tshawytcha including chinook; anadromous whitefish and cisco (Coregonidae spp.); and anadromous Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus).
barrister means the barrister, practising as a member of the Bar of England and Wales, who is supplying the Services in accordance with the Agreement; a "Business Day" means a day that is neither a weekend nor a public holiday in England;
Greywater means all liquid wastes from showers, baths, sinks, kitchens and domestic washing facilities, but does not include toilet wastes;
