Fuel procurement plan definition

Fuel procurement plan means a plan that (1) establishes the parameters of a fuel supply portfolio for a utility and (2) strikes an appropriate balance between fuel costs and the related risks to which consumers are exposed (e.g., fuel cost increases and supply disruptions) over the term of the resource plan.
Fuel procurement plan means those policies, procedures and protocols, developed by MMWEC and revised by MMWEC from time to time to provide guidance and direction for the acquisition, transportation and/or storage of fuel supplies for the Project and the optimization of the pricing, scheduling or other aspects of the fuel supply agreements and fuel transportation agreements used to supply fuel for the Project, including commodity ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and other financial or derivative products entered into or procured as part of the cost of fuel, in all cases subject to the then applicable policies and procedures established by the Risk Oversight Committee or the MMWEC Board of Directors, as the case may be.
