Extraction Technology definition

Extraction Technology means that certain petroleum extraction technology (also known as hydrocarbon extraction technology) suitable to extract petroleum (or hydrocarbons) from material, and all related concepts and conceptualizations thereof, and all related proprietary information and intellectual property rights related thereto, all of which are proprietary to and owned exclusively by the Company.

  • For a period of three years from and after the date of this Agreement, the Licensor will not engage directly or indirectly in any business activity using the Data Extraction Technology within the Field of Use.

  • Licensee may engage Licensor, on mutually agreeable terms to Licensor and Licensee to install the Data Extraction Technology for use by Licensee at Licensor's facilities.

  • To the Knowledge of the Company, the Company is the registered owner of all of the intellectual property rights relating to the Extraction Technology.

  • Improvements and New Inventions will be owned solely by the Licensees and shall be free and clear of any ownership or other rights claimed by Licensor and shall not be part of the Intellectual Property and/or Extraction Technology.

  • Licensee agrees to protect and to not denegrate such trade names, or to modify, alter, change or revise the Source Code or Data Extraction Technology or create or market any derivative thereof.

  • Licensee acknowledges that its rights in the Data Extraction Technology are limited to the license granted hereunder and that Licensor retains all right, title and interest in and to the Data Extraction Technology except for the limited license specifically granted to Licensee hereunder.

  • Notwithstanding Section 5.2, all right, title and interest to all Paraffin Extraction Technology created solely by GHI or Incyte, or jointly by GHI and Incyte, or its employees or agents, in connection with the Development Program, shall be owned by GHI.

  • In any event, Working Interest Holder shall not file any patent application based on or using the Confidential Information of the Company provided hereunder or otherwise assert any ownership claim with respect to, or claim any right to make, use or sell products incorporating, the Extraction Technology.

  • SXM is the exclusive owner of the SX Lithium Extraction Technology (as defined below).

  • The NCX DLE Technology is an Ion Extraction Technology that uses the very high surface area of special hollow fibre membranes to achieve very effective extraction rates of ions existing in low concentrations in liquids.

Related to Extraction Technology

  • Information Technology means computers, software, databases, firmware, middleware, servers, workstations, networks, systems, routers, hubs, switches, data communications lines, and all other information technology equipment and associated documentation.

  • Collaboration Technology means all Collaboration Patents and Collaboration Know-How.

  • Information Technology (IT) System means the combination of hardware components, software, and other equipment to make a system whose core purpose is to accomplish a data processing need such as the automatic acquisition, storage, analysis, evaluation, manipulation, management, movement, control, display, switching, interchange, transmission or reception of data. IT systems include ground systems in support of flight hardware. IT systems do not include—

  • Information Technology Systems means all information technology systems, Software, computers, workstations, databases, routers, hubs, switches, networks and other information technology equipment used or held for use in, or otherwise relating to, the Business.

  • Information Technology Resources means agency budgetary resources, personnel, equipment, facilities, or services that are primarily used in the management, operation, acquisition, disposition, and transformation, or other activity related to the lifecycle of information technology; acquisitions or interagency agreements that include information technology and the services or equipment provided by such acquisitions or interagency agreements; but does not include grants to third parties which establish or support information technology not operated directly by the Federal Government.
