References to Deliverable Obligation, Deliverable Obligation Category and Deliverable Obligation Characteristics in the definition of Reference Obligation are for convenience only and are not intended to amend Cash Settlement as the Settlement Method.
For purposes of the application of the Obligation Category or the Deliverable Obligation Category, the Qualifying Guarantee shall be deemed to be described by the same category or categories as those that describe the Underlying Obligation.
For the avoidance of doubt, provided that a Reference Obligation selected pursuant to paragraph (b) above (which is not a Reference Obligation by virtue of paragraph (a) above) satisfies the applicable Deliverable Obligation Category and Deliverable Obligation Characteristics on the date of selection, such obligation(s) may constitute Reference Obligation(s) for the purposes hereof irrespective of whether this continues to be the case subsequent to such date.
