Degredate definition
Degredate means to cause, or to undergo degradation. For example, application of the pesticide copper sulfate to a waterbody impaired for either copper or sulfates would not be eligible for coverage under this permit, because copper sulfate can degrade into these two substances. Copper and sulfate are degradates of copper sulfate.
