Daily Journal definition

Daily Journal means the Daily Journal Corporation, a South Carolina corporation, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates (other than Employer).
Daily Journal is defined in the first paragraph of this Agreement.

Examples of Daily Journal in a sentence

  • The CM’s site superintendent shall compile and maintain a written Daily Journal detailing prevailing weather conditions, job site activities, head count, etc.

  • Neither party may assign this Agreement in whole or part without the prior written consent of the other party; provided that Licensor may assign this Agreement to another subsidiary of Daily Journal Corporation, directly or by operation of law, without the prior written consent of Licensee.

  • The Employee's covenants in Section 5 are independent covenants and the existence of any claim by the Employee against the Employer under this Agreement or otherwise, or against Daily Journal, will not excuse the Employee's breach of any covenant in Section 5.

  • Construction Manager shall advertise Subcontractor solicitations at least ten (10) Days prior to opening bids in the [Daily Journal of Commerce] and at least one other newspaper specifically targeted to reach the certified diverse business community.

  • The Employer shall indemnify Employee for, and provide for advancement of expenses relating to, any proceedings brought or threatened to be brought against Employee by reason of the fact that Employee was an employee, officer or director of Employer or any of its affiliates following the date of this Agreement to the same extent and on the same terms as Daily Journal provides indemnification and expense advancement to its employees, officers and directors from time to time.

  • Daily Journal or the Employer may notify such employer that the Employee is bound by this Agreement and, at the Employer's election, furnish such employer with a copy of this Agreement or relevant portions thereof.
