Core Worker definition

Core Worker as used in this Agreement shall mean an employee whose name appeared on the C/S/E active payroll for sixty (60) of the one hundred (100) days immediately before the award of the Project Work to the C/S/E and meets all standards required by applicable local, state or federal law or regulation.
Core Worker means a verifiable member of a C/S/E’s core workforce for the purpose of the DPW-PLA and this Policy if the worker’s name appears on the C/S/E’s active payroll for 60 of 100 working days immediately prior to award of the construction contract and meets all standards required by applicable local, state or federal law or regulation.
Core Worker as used in this Agreement shall mean an employee whose name appeared on the C/S/EC/S/E/D active payroll for sixty (60) of the one hundred (100) days immediately before the award of the Project Work to the C/S/EC/S/E/D and meets all standards required by applicable local, state or federal law or regulation.

Examples of Core Worker in a sentence

  • The number of Core Workers on the Project for C/S/E/Ds covered by this Agreement shall be governed by the following procedure: one Core Worker shall be selected and one worker from the hiring hall of the affected trade or craft and this process shall repeat until such C/S/E/D's requirements are met or until such C/S/E/D has hired five (5) such Core Workers for that craft, whichever occurs first.

  • The number of Core Workers on the Project for C/S/Es covered by this Agreement shall be governed by the following procedure: one Core Worker shall be selected and one worker from the hiring hall of the affected trade or craft and this process shall repeat until such C/S/E's requirements are met or until such C/S/E has hired five (5) such Core Workers for that craft, whichever occurs first.

  • The City shall monitor Contractor compliance to this Core Worker definition.

  • The Local Area Contractor, upon request by the Community Workforce Coordinator, shall provide the necessary documentation to support the qualification of an employee as a Core Worker.

  • Upon request by any Party to this Agreement, the Contractor hiring any Core Worker shall provide satisfactory proof (e.g., payroll records, quarterly tax records, driver’s license, voter registration, postal address and such other documentation) evidencing the Core Worker’s qualification as a core employee to the Community Workforce Coordinator and the Council.

  • In the event the Contractor/Employer reduces the workforce, such reduction will take place in the reverse order starting with a Core Worker and in the same ratios as was applied in hiring.

  • The C/S/E shall identify Core Workers in their Employment Hiring Plan and shall provide payroll records evidencing the worker’s qualification as a Core Worker upon request by the City.

  • Upon request by any Party to this Agreement, the Contractor hiring any Core Worker shall provide satisfactory proof (i.e., payroll records, quarterly tax records, driver’s license, voter registration, postal address, college transcripts, certificate, diplomas, and such other documentation) evidencing the Core Worker’s qualification as such to the PLA Administrator and the Council.

  • All other Contractors not currently signatory to a Master Labor Agreement that is awarded work on the Project may directly employ one (1) Core Worker (as defined below) that is referred pursuant to the referral procedures referenced in this Section 3 after which one (1) worker shall be referred from the Union referral list.

  • In addition, at the request of the Building Trades Council or Union, Contractor/Employer shall submit a Core Worker list to the requesting party and shall provide payroll records evidencing the worker's qualifications as a Core Worker.


More Definitions of Core Worker

Core Worker means a worker who the Contractor proposes to use for Project Work pursuant to Section 8.5 below, who has been employed by the Contractor for at least ninety (90) out of the one hundred and twenty (120) working days prior to award of a Construction Contract and meets the minimum experience and licensure requirements described in Section 8.5(a)-(c).

Related to Core Worker

  • Homecare Worker means a provider, as described in OAR 411-031- 0040, that is directly employed by a consumer to provide either hourly or live-in services to the eligible consumer.
