Convention Center Tax Component definition

Convention Center Tax Component means the portion of the Additional Tax intended to fund Convention Center Expansion and Modernization Costs, Convention Center Operating Costs, Convention Center Support Costs, and Convention Center Business Development Costs, as described in Section 35.0204.

  • The City is authorized to issue and sell Bonds payable from and secured by the Additional Tax Revenues attributable to the Convention Center Tax Component, to fund Convention Center Expansion and Modernization Costs.

  • The maximum bonded indebtedness for Bonds issued pursuant to this Section for Convention Center Expansion and Modernization Costs, including financing costs, shall not exceed the lesser of (i) the Additional Tax Revenues attributable to the Convention Center Tax Component, projected over the life of those Bonds and (ii) $850,000,000 provided, however, that the City Council may lift that latter, $850,000,000, cap by a resolution adopted after a noticedpublic hearing.

  • Combined cycle system means a system comprised of one or more combustion turbines, heat recovery steam generators, and steam turbines configured to improve overall efficiency of electricity generation or steam production.

  • Convention Area means the exclusive economic zone of a State Party, established in accordance with international law or, if a State Party has not established such a zone, an area beyond and adjacent to the territorial sea of that State determined by that State in accordance with international law and extending not more than 200 nautical miles from the baselines from which the breadth of its territorial sea is measured.

  • Relevant Electric Retail Regulatory Authority means an entity that has jurisdiction over and establishes prices and policies for competition for providers of retail electric service to end- customers, such as the city council for a municipal utility, the governing board of a cooperative utility, the state public utility commission or any other such entity.

  • Diagnostic source assembly means the tube housing assembly with a beam-limiting device attached.
