Conduct of Concern definition

Conduct of Concern means the same as defined in section 76(1) of the PGA [Conduct in another jurisdiction].

  • In accordance with section 4.6 of the Bylaws, a Member who has been found by the Board or its delegate to have engaged in Conduct of Concern can appeal the finding and the remedy imposed within 30 days of the written reasons being provided to the Member.

  • Responding to Other Conduct of Concern: 2 As with all CSU universities, Dominguez Hills grapples with conduct issues that may not rise to the level of a Nondiscrimination Policy 2 We use the term other conduct of concern to refer to conduct that may not rise to the level of protected status discrimination or harassment, but may nonetheless violate other university policies or be disruptive to the learning, living, or working environment.

  • Business concern means any corporation, company, limited liability company, partnership, joint venture, trust, unincorporated association or any other form of association.

  • Small Diversity business concern means a small business concern that is at least fifty-one (51) percent unconditionally owned by one or more individuals who are both socially and economically diverse, or a publicly owned business that has at least fifty-one (51) percent of its stock unconditionally owned by one or more socially and economically diverse individuals and that has its management and daily business controlled by one or more such individuals. This term also means a small business concern that is at least fifty-one (51) percent unconditionally owned by an economically diverse Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian Organization, or a publicly owned business that has at least fifty-one (51) percent of its stock unconditionally owned by one of these entities, that has its management and daily business controlled by members of an economically diverse Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian organization.

  • Concern means any business entity organized for profit (even if its ownership is in the hands of a nonprofit entity) with a place of business located in the United States or its outlying areas and that makes a significant contribution to the U.S. economy through payment of taxes and/or use of American products, material and/or labor, etc. It includes but is not limited to an individual, partnership, corporation, joint venture, association, or cooperative. For the purpose of making affiliation findings (see 19.101) any business entity, whether organized for profit or not, and any foreign business entity, i.e., any entity located outside the United States and its outlying areas.

  • Qualification means any degree, diploma or certificate conferred upon a person after having been examined in respect of that person’s proficiency in a particular field of study;

  • Permitted Business means any business in which the Company or its Restricted Subsidiaries are engaged on the date of this Indenture and any other business related, incidental, complementary or ancillary thereto, and any unrelated business to the extent that it is not material in size as compared with the Company and its Restricted Subsidiaries’ business as a whole.

  • Permitted Business Investments means Investments by the Company or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries in any Unrestricted Subsidiary of the Company or in any Joint Venture, provided that:

  • Permitted Business Investment means any Investment made in the ordinary course of, and of a nature that is or shall have become customary in, the Oil and Gas Business including investments or expenditures for actively exploiting, exploring for, acquiring, developing, producing, processing, gathering, marketing or transporting oil, natural gas or other Hydrocarbons and minerals through agreements, transactions, interests or arrangements which permit one to share risks or costs, comply with regulatory requirements regarding local ownership or satisfy other objectives customarily achieved through the conduct of the Oil and Gas Business jointly with third parties including:

  • Pollutants of concern or "POC" means total nitrogen, total phosphorus, and total suspended solids.
