Concurrent care definition

Concurrent care means care furnished at the same time to a Medicaid recipient by physicians of more than one specialty when the patient's condition requires such care.
Concurrent care means a situation where in-patient hospital services of more than one Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon or Dentist are required because of the complexity of the clinical needs of the patient.
