COBRA Severance Period definition

COBRA Severance Period means (i) 18 months for Tier 1 Participants, (ii) 15 months for Tier 2 Participants and (iii) 9 months for Tier 3 Participants.
COBRA Severance Period means 12 months for Tier 1 Participants and Tier 2 Participants.

  • COBRA Premium Benefits during the applicable COBRA Severance Period following the Change in Control Related Termination on the same terms and conditions set forth in Section 4(c).

  • The Employers shall not pay any portion of the COBRA Premiums for longer than the COBRA Severance Period, regardless of whether the Participant or his or her eligible dependents have an additional qualifying event under COBRA.

  • Upon the conclusion of the COBRA Severance Period, the Participant will be responsible for the entire payment of premiums required under COBRA for the duration of the COBRA period, if any.

Related to COBRA Severance Period

  • Severance Period means the period of time commencing on the date of the first occurrence of a Change in Control and continuing until the earlier of (i) the second anniversary of the occurrence of the Change in Control and (ii) the Executive’s death.

  • COBRA Period means the period beginning on the Date of Termination and ending on the six-month anniversary thereof; provided, however, that in the event the Qualifying Termination occurs on or within 24 months following a Change in Control, then the COBRA Period instead shall end on the 12-month anniversary thereof.

  • COBRA Continuation Period means the continuation period for medical and dental insurance to be provided under the terms of this Agreement which shall commence on the first day of the calendar month following the month in which the date of termination falls and generally shall continue for an 18 month period.

  • Severance Pay means any amount that is payable in cash and is identified by a Participating Company as severance pay, or any amount which is payable on account of periods beginning after the last date on which an employee (or former employee) is required to report for work for a Participating Company.

  • Severance Term means the twenty-four (24) month period following Executive’s termination by the Company without Cause (other than by reason of death or Disability) or by Executive for Good Reason.

  • Change in Control Severance Benefits means the benefits payable pursuant to Section 3 of this Agreement.

Payments to a former superintendent who remains employed by a district in another capacity or contracts with a district to pro- vide the district services may be severance payments in whole or in part if the payments are compensation for the early termination of a prior employment agreement.   • Severance Amount means:

  • COBRA Continuation Coverage means the health care benefit continuation coverage mandated by the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act and similar provisions of state law.

  • Change in Control Benefits means the following benefits:

  • Severance Benefits mean the payment of severance compensation as provided in Section 2.3 herein.

  • Severance Compensation means the compensation set forth in (i), (ii), and (iv) above.

  • Severance Date means the date on which an Executive incurs a Severance, which shall be the date of termination as determined under Section 5.2.

  • Benefit Period means the period of time from the date of the Accident causing the Injury for which benefits are payable, as shown in the Schedule of Benefits, and the date after which no further benefits will be paid.

  • Change in Control Benefit means the benefit described in Section 2.4.

  • COBRA Coverage means continuation coverage required under Section 4980B of the Code and Part 6 of Title I of ERISA.

  • COBRA means the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985, as amended.

  • Post-Employment Period is defined in Section 8.2.

  • Nonqualifying Termination means a termination of the Executive’s employment (1) by the Company for Cause, (2) by the Executive for any reason other than a Good Reason, (3) as a result of the Executive’s death or (4) by the Company due to the Executive’s absence from his duties with the Company on a full-time basis for at least 180 consecutive days as a result of the Executive’s incapacity due to physical or mental illness.

  • Extended benefit period means a period which:

  • Retention Period means the minimum time that must pass after the creation, recording, or receipt of a record, or the fulfillment of certain actions associated with a record, before it is eligible for destruction.

  • Executive Severance Plan means the Company’s Senior Executive Employee Severance Pay Plan, as in effect from time to time.
