Base school definition

Base school means the school in a merged attendance area that has the lowest enrollment of the schools in the merged attendance area.
Base school means the workplace designated by the Employer per Section 27:01 and shall generally be the school or the Education Authority office where the Teacher spends the greatest portion of his/her work time. Exceptionally, the Employer may designate a Teacher’s Base School as a workplace other than where the Teacher spends the greatest portion of his/her work time provided the designation is not made to avoid mileage expenses.
