Axis Firmware definition

Axis Firmware or “AXIS OS” means software that is embedded in any Axis Products.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, Axis Firmware and any Software licensed under the model described in Section 3.2.3, may be transferred to a third party in connection with the sale or transfer of the relevant Axis Product to such third party, provided that the third party agrees to accept and be bound by all terms and conditions of this Agreement.

  • In the event of termination of this Agreement, all licenses granted hereunder will automatically terminate and you shall immediately cease all use of the Software and Documentation, including any Third Party Software, and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the Software and Documentation, including any Third Party Software (or for Axis Firmware – disable or destroy the Axis Product in which the Axis Firmware is embedded).

Related to Axis Firmware

  • Firmware means software sold or licensed only in conjunction with machines, designed for execution only on a machine with which it is provided, designed only for machines other than a dedicated computer, and embedded into or installed on the machine by the machine’s manufacturer or seller.

  • Software means computer programs, whether in source code or object code form (including any and all software implementation of algorithms, models and methodologies), databases and compilations (including any and all data and collections of data), and all documentation (including user manuals and training materials) related to the foregoing.

  • Embedded Software means one or more software applications which permanently reside on a computing device.

  • Application Software means Software formulated to perform specific business or technical functions and interface with the business or technical users of the System and is identified as such in Appendix4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Application Software.

  • Developed Software means software specifically designed for the Principal under the Contract. Depending how advanced its development is, it may be either a Product or a Service or both.
