Availability Zone definition

Availability Zone means the configuration of hardware and software to create a platform where the Virtual Machines are deployed.
Availability Zone or “Zone” means a data center in a unique physical location that has its own power, cooling, and networking.
Availability Zone is defined as a specific device, or set of devices linked together to behave as one device, within which any Access Ports would share a common failure domain. PacketFabric defines and operates multiple Availability Zones at each location throughout its network, in order to ensure Customer has the opportunity to obtain redundant connections to the PacketFabric network.

  • Each Availability Zone is engineered to operate independently with high reliability.

More Definitions of Availability Zone

Availability Zone means a separate data center sufficiently distant from other data centers (if any), in the same Region to allow the implementation of a local resilience. Availability Zones in each Region shall be notified by Orange to Customer.
