Assistant Commissioner means the Assistant Commissioner of HPD responsible for administration of this Contract or an authorized representative designated in writing by the Assistant Commissioner.
magistrate means a magistrate as defined in section 1 of the Magistrates Act, 2003 (Act No. 3 of 2003), and who, upon the date of his or her retirement, had served as a magistrate for a period of not less than 20 years; and
Assistant Superintendent means the assistant superintendent to whom the supervisor reports. If the supervisor is an assistant superintendent, the associate superintendent will serve as the assistant superintendent.
Magistrates Courts Act, 1944’’ means the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1944 (Act No. 32 of 1944);
Assistant Director means the Asstt. Director of the Authority, as the case may be.
Deputy Assistant Secretary as used in this clause, means the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Federal Contract Compliance, U.S. Department of Labor, or a designee.
Assistant Finance Director means the Assistant Finance Director or designee.
Assistant means a person who, under the terms of appointment of an arbitrator, conducts research or provides assistance to the arbitrator;
Assistant Secretary means an Assistant Secretary of the Corporation.
Competent Officer means any officer authorized by the Corporation to act on behalf of the Corporation under this Contract.
Assistant Treasurer means an Assistant Treasurer of the Corporation.
adjudicating officer means the adjudicating officer appointed under sub-section (1) of section 71;
College President means the chief executive officer of the college appointed by the board of trustees.
Assistant Administrator ’ means the Assistant Ad-
Deputy means any person employed by the department designated as a deputy, who possesses special, technical, scien- tific, managerial or personal abilities or qualities in matters within the jurisdiction of the department, and who may be engaged in the performance of duties under the direction of the secretary, calling for the exercise of such abilities or qualities.
Assistant Hydrographic Surveyor means the Assistant Hydrographic Surveyor of the Authority, as the case may be
registration officer means an officer appointed for the purpose of, and in accordance with, section 8 of the Representation of the People Act 1983.
Presidential slate means a slate of two persons, the first of whom has been nominated as a candidate for President of the United States and the second of whom has been nominated as a candidate for Vice President of the United States, or any legal successors to such persons, regardless of whether both names appear on the ballot presented to the voter in a particular state;
Chairman means the Chairman of the Board;
Physician assistant supervision agreement means a written agreement, jointly
Secretary means the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services or his designee.
Assistant principal means a school administrator
the President means the Board of Governors, IISER Bhopal.
Hearings Officer means a person from time to time appointed by Council pursuant to the Hearings Officer By-law;
Chief law enforcement officer means the chief of police of cities and towns and sheriffs of counties, unless a political subdivision has otherwise designated its chief law-enforcement officer by appropriate resolution or ordinance, in which case the local designation shall be controlling.
Secretary-General means the Secretary-General of the Organization.
