Successful Applicant means an “employee applicant” or “applicant” who has been offered employment within this Bargaining Unit by the Employer.
Successful Bidder” or “Successful E-Auction Process Participant means, the Qualified Bidder whose bid is approved and who is declared successful by the Liquidator at the end of the determined auction phase.C. INTRODUCTION
Successful Proposer means any Proposer selected by the University to receive an Award as a result of this RFP and to enter into a Contract to provide the University with the products or services sought by this RFP.
Supplier/ Successful or Selected bidder means the person, private or government entity, or a combination of the above, whose Bid to perform the Contract has been accepted by the Purchaser and is named as such in the Agreement, and includes the legal successors or permitted assigns of the successful/ selected bidder.
Successful Proponent means a Proponent who the City may award the agreement to, as a result of this RFP document.
Successful Respondent means an organization that receives a grant award as a result of this RFA. May also be referred to as "Grantee, ""Awarded Applicant," "Subrecipient" or "Grant Recipient."
Successful Vendor means the organization or person with whom the order is placed or who is contracted to execute the work as detailed in the bid.
Related Body Corporate has the meaning given in the Corporations Act.
Race or sex stereotyping means ascribing character traits, values, moral and ethical codes, privileges, status, or beliefs to a race or sex, or to an individual because of his or her race or sex.
Contractor/ The Successful Bidder means the person whose Tender has been accepted and awarded letter of Acceptance followed by the Supply Order or Contract by the Purchaser.
Appeals Tribunal or “AT” means the Body responsible for hearing and determining appeals set out in section 9;
Approved Auditor means a person who is:
Records officer means the individual appointed by the chief administrative officer of each governmental entity, or the political subdivision to work with state archives in the care, maintenance, scheduling, designation, classification, disposal, and preservation of records.
Substantial and Compelling Reason in the Public Interest means a reason that is justified by an important, specific, and articulated public interest goal that is within ICANN's mission and consistent with a balanced application of ICANN's core values as defined in ICANN's Bylaws.
Race or sex scapegoating means assigning fault, blame, or bias to a race or sex, or to members of a race or sex because of their race or sex; and
Expert is defined in Section 7.9 of this Agreement.
Reviewing Authority means the Alberta Securities Commission.
Natural background means the condition of waters in the absence of man-induced alterations based on the best scientific information available to the Department. The establishment of natural background for an altered waterbody may be based upon a similar unaltered waterbody or on historical pre-alteration data. 62-302.200(15), FAC.
Child custody determination means a judgment, decree, or other order of a court providing for the legal custody, physical custody, or visitation with respect to a child. The term includes a permanent, temporary, initial, and modification order. The term does not include an order relating to child support or other monetary obligation of an individual.

Non-Participating Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist means a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.
County indigent transcript means a transcript that is paid for from county funds and is for the use on behalf of a litigant who has been declared indigent by a court.
Registered professional nurse means that term as defined in section 17201 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.17201.
Corrosion expert means a person who, by reason of thorough knowledge of the physical sciences and the principles of engineering and mathematics acquired by a professional education and related practical experience, is qualified to engage in the practice of corrosion control on buried or submerged metal piping systems and metal tanks. Such a person must be accredited or certified as being qualified by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers or be a registered professional engineer who has certification or licensing that includes education and experience in corrosion control of buried or submerged metal piping systems and metal tanks.
Adverse determination shall have the meaning set forth in Section 19.7.
Dominant in its field of operation means having more than ten employees and annual gross revenues in the preceding twelve months which, if added to the annual amount of the contract awarded, exceed $500,000.
