Annualised definition

Annualised means we take the measured amount divide it by the months it covers and multiply it by 12 to give an estimate of the rate that would be seen throughout the year.

Annualised means taking an amount for part of a year and recalculating it as an annual amount. This is necessary when figures are not available for the full year.
