Affordable housing costs definition

Affordable housing costs means the total housing costs paid by a qualifying household, which shall not exceed a specified fraction of their gross income, adjusted for household size appropriate for the unit, as follows:
Affordable housing costs means the amounts set forth in the Health and Safety Code sections 50052.5 and 50053, as may be amended.
Affordable housing costs means that the housing costs for a low-income resident shall not exceed 30 percent of that resident's monthly gross income unless the department approves an amount exceeding this standard based on one or more of the following conditions which provide overriding and special reasons for exceeding this goal:
