A purchase definition

A purchase means the acquisition by contracting in any manner, whether by rent, lease, lease/purchase or installment sales contract which may provide for the payment of interest on unpaid portions of the purchase price, or outright purchase, from a source of supply for either commodities or contractual services. Within the meaning of this definition, the following are deemed not to be purchases of commodities or services:
