Common use of Notices Clause in Contracts

Notices. 12.1. The Customer agrees that all relevant notices and communications may be sent to him/her on paper or on a durable medium at the contact data he provides to Novum. In addition to any other contact details provided to Novum, the Customer also specifies his/her mobile number (if any) as an additional means of receiving notices and other communications from Novum. This clause does not apply to advertisement. 12.2. The Customer will receive all new communications by an e-mail message sent to the e-mail address given by him/her in the Loan Application and, simultaneously, a short message service (SMS) alert sent on a mobile device, if specified by the Customer. This clause does not exclude that Novum or its agents make legally binding statements by other means of communications (§ 10 para. 3 KSchG). 12.3. Communication between the Customer and Novum shall be made in German.
