Common use of Yellowing Clause in Contracts

Yellowing. Compared to the initial value, a change of the yellow index YI will not be a) > 10 after 2 years or > 15 within 10 years for clear twin-wall sheets, nor b) > 15 after 2 years or > 20 within 10 years for transparent coloured twin-wall sheets. Measurements are taken according to ASTM 313 from cleaned, scratch-free samples.

Yellowing. Compared to the initial value, a change of the yellow index YI ΔYI will not be a) > 10 15 after 2 5 years or > 15 18 within 10 years for clear twin-wall sheets, nor b) > 15 20 after 2 5 years or > 20 within 25 after 10 years for transparent coloured twin-wall sheets. Measurements are taken according to ASTM 313 from cleaned, scratch-free samples.
