WSIB Benefit Top Up. Where an employee is absent and in receipt of W.S.I.B benefits, the Region will make up the difference between compensation payments and their regular pay (wage top up), by debiting the employee's sick leave credits with one (1) hour for each such absence of their normal work days until such time as their sick leave credits are exhausted.
