Workmanship and Quality. 7.8.1 Employees appropriately qualified will sign all required documentation in accordance with the applicable statutes and regulations.
7.8.2 Employees are required to perform their functions and duties in accordance with the generally accepted principles of good quality and safe practices. Provided that all work performed shall be within the limits of the employee’s skill, training, classification and competence. It is also a term and condition of employment that an employee will:
a) Properly use and maintain all appropriate protective clothing, tools and equipment provided by the Employer; and
b) Maintain a commitment to implement and observe the best agreed health and safety practices, quality procedures, site cleanliness and waste management practices.
c) Provide and maintain an adequate kit of tools as stated in this Agreement.
d) Sign all required documentation in accordance with the accredited Quality Assurance program.
7.8.3 The ETU will make every endeavour to eliminate any demarcation issue that may arise within the Employer.
7.8.4 It is understood that Quality Assurance is a key factor to ensure that the Employer becomes a more competitive and efficient enterprise. The parties are therefore committed to the introduction and maintenance of accredited Quality Assurance Programs where deemed necessary by the Employer and in accordance with Australian and/or international standards, and employees are committed to taking any necessary steps to implement such Programs.

All persons covered by this Agreement are therefore committed to the introduction and maintenance of Employer’s Quality Assurance programs where deemed necessary by the Employer and in accordance with Australian and/or international standards, and Employees are committed to taking any necessary steps to implement such programs.

b) Employees will complete all required documentation, especially time sheets, on time and accurately. Employees commit to taking accountability for completing daily tasks and preparing for tomorrow’s tasks where practicable.
c) Employees are required to perform their functions and duties in accordance within the generally accepted principles of good quality and safe practices. Provided that all work performed shall be within the limits of the employees’ skill, training, classification and competence. It is also a term and condition of employment that an employee will:
i. Properly use and maintain all appropriate vehicles, protective clothing, tools and equipment provided by the Employer.
ii. Maintain a commitment to implement and observe the best agreed health and safety practices, quality procedures, site cleanliness and waste management practices.
iii. Maintain an adequate kit of tools as stated in this agreement.
iv. Sign all required documentation in accordance with the accredited Quality Assurance program.
v. Conduct minor vehicle maintenance where possible and practicable and where employees are provided with the appropriate tools and it is safe to perform such work.
d) The ETU will make every endeavour to eliminate any demarcation issue that may arise within the Employer.
e) It is understood that Quality Assurance is a key factor to ensure that the Employer becomes a more competitive and efficient enterprise.
f) The parties are therefore committed to the introduction and maintenance of accredited Quality Assurance programs where deemed necessary by the Employer and in accordance with Australian Standards.
Workmanship and Quality. 12.2.1 Employees shall test any installation, plant or equipment, complete appropriate company forms and sign all required documentation in accordance with the applicable statutes, regulations and Company policies and procedures. It is understood that quality assurance is a key factor to ensure the Company becomes a more competitive and efficient enterprise. The Parties are therefore committed to the introduction and maintenance of accredited quality assurance programs where deemed necessary by the Employer and in accordance with Australian Standards and Company policies and/or procedures.
12.2.2 The Company is fully committed to achieving international best practice levels of performance across its entire operations including management, technology, equipment, quality job designs, project management, skills enhancement and Employer/Employee relations. The Parties agree to co-operate in the joint development and implementation of an International Best Practice Program through which benchmarks for performance are developed in all key areas. The resultant changes to the Company’s operations will be jointly monitored and evaluated.
12.2.3 Programs may be put into place to ensure the following:

The Contractor shall enforce strict discipline and good order among the Contractor’s employees and other persons carrying out the Work. The Contractor shall not permit employment of unfit persons or persons not skilled in the portions of the Work assigned to them.

(c) Programs may be put into place to ensure the following:
(i) Implementation of a project quality management system.
(ii) Recognition that satisfying the customer's needs generally accords with the meaning of the quality delivery.
(iii) An understanding across the total company of the full meaning of quality assurance in the electrical contracting industry.
(iv) Involvement of the whole workforce in quality assurance, or continuous improvement, principles.
(v) Continued refinement of the project hour control initiative.
(vi) Appropriate training is provided to all personnel involved in quality assurance.
